he's a pretty interesting guy. he's blind in one eye, he sings with that falsetto vice (and does it ten times better than Justine Bieber) He's a vegetarian, he plays his guitar with a bow, he only eats raw food and he has a little sister named sigurros or something.

they also stand as the most hilarious interview i ever saw on tv (muchmusic). Sook Yin Lee was interviewing them in the men's room after a show and they got to the topic of safe sex, the band is (or was) very proactive about it, including directions on how to use condoms properly.

so to make sure they weren't just being PC and actually practiced what they preached she asked the singer to prove it. by pulling out a strapon and cutting to video. 3 minutes later i'm treated to the hilarity of a short Chinese girl standing in a superman pose with a huge black strap on surrounded by a bunch of guys and the singer on his knees rolling a condom down onto that chunk of plastic.

nothing i've ever seen on tv before or after that has ever made me laugh so hard.

yeah, i just wanted to tell the strap on story.

also one of my old band mates (mostly synths) would get hit on A LOT by the drummer whenever the band would play in town back in the 90s.
