I've just found out the bit in u2's A beautiful day is a rip off both musically and lyrically of Aha's The sun always shines on tv.

Marcy Playground's Rebel Sodville always sounded like a plagarism of Marcy Playground's One More Suicide.

John Lydon reckoned that U2 ripped off the P.I.L song 4 enclosed walls on their song Bullet the blue sky. I think i can hear some vague resemblence and u2 have form!

Plagiarism without frontiers:

Apart from the "Al Gore version", Macarena was nothing but a vulgar plagiarism of Fun Boy Three's It Ain't What You Do (from 1982, but based on a jazz song from 1939):

Faithfulness (Skin, 2003), a plagiarism of Aire (Mecano, 1984):

Sigue Sigue Sputnik - Already plagiarizing themselves by the second album (I swear to this day, I got it on Cassette for a Dollar...yes, morbid curiosity before the You Tube age), there's "Rio Rocks" which goes all over "La Bamba" near the end to easily imagine Richie Valens spinning in his grave many times over.

The Yardbirds - Still I'm Sad...

Definitely rips off more than a little of the melody for:
