I'm a member of tons of music forums, so I get a lot of info there. I also read the Yahoo music news and I just randomly find videos on YouTube hehe

Usually, I get information about bands, songs, and venues by word of mouth. If it's not from one of my friends, it's from the dudes at my local music store. I get on youtube to listen to music, but I don't really explore on there too often. Or if I go to a show and a band that I don't know opens and I like them, I'll search them out or buy one of their albums at the sale table.
