Default What would your personal "Golden Record" have on it?

Okay, I'm guessing you've heard of the Voyager Spacecraft. On Voyager, there is a golden record that has sounds of wind, the sea and people talking, and is meant to be recieved by aliens and to be played back. If you want to read more, look at this page for more information.

Now, let's pretend you have your own Voyager spacecraft, and your own golden record. This golden record is meant to represent your tastes in music if an extra-terrestrial ever finds it. So, naturally, you would want to choose some of the songs that represent you the most. So, if you had to choose ten songs to put on the golden record, what would they be? what images would be engraved on the gold case?

I would want 2 tracks.

1: The entirety of Pulse Demon spliced together into one track
2: "Ruthless Babysitting" by Whitehouse

If those aliens come here they'll enslave us all. I don't want them here.

1.) Band Of Horses - Is There a Ghost?
2.) Tim Buckley - Hallucinations
3.) Leonard Cohen - Famous Blue Raincoat
4.) Soft Machine - All White
5.) The Electric Prunes - I Had Too Much To Dream (Last Night)
6.) Phish - A Song I Heard the Ocean Sing (Live: 2004.06.19)
7.) CocoRosie - Good Friday
8.) Hawkwind - D-Rider
9.) Elliott Smith - Twilight
10.) Queen - The Prophet's Song

I'd probably have engravings of the comedy / tragedy theatre masks, a guitar and some music notes, the moon and stars, and a very faint NYC skyline. That'd pretty much sum it up, I think.

That's a great tracklist. Famous Blue Raincoat is an outstanding song.

So, I think it's time that I do my own:

A Silver Mt. Zion - Movie (Never Made)
VHS Head - Remote Control
Don Caballero - Room Temperature Suite
Galaxie 500 - Snowstorm
Mogwai - Tracy
Boards Of Canada - Gyroscope
Animal Collective - Grass
Boris - Farewell
Autechre - Nine
Battles - Tij

on the golden case, there will be a child's drawing engraved on it, and it would bear a misspelled variation of my name.
