It feels like I've seen this post in every thread involving a negative aspect of a band.

understandable, but I love them.

The White Stripes, they don't hold my interest. Don't get me wrong I enjoy long songs and all it's not like those don't hold my interest. But, The White Stripes are very redundant. They have a sound that they can't escape from which makes there music boring knowing they can't experiment a little bit. It's just the same garage rock/blues influence that sounds the same song after song.

Never found what everybody likes about Nickelback. The whole genre is just kind of bland to me. But I've never given them an honest listen.

I hear you. Back in the early 00s a friend of mine burned me a copy of De Stijl and White Blood Cells and I could never quite get into them. Then I saw them live and I realized why: They basically only have three songs.

Dave Matthews Band. Never got into them at all, although I've been made to listen to them on numerous occasions. I find them completely boring.

If you're looking for a more diverse White Stripes you guys should listen to Icky Thump.
