what bands do you find boring?

Calling music boring shows me more about you than it does about the band you're insulting.

I actually don't find any music boring, as almost everything has it's time and it's place.

To find Queen boring is bizarre, as they had one of the most entertaining front men in history, (not just my opinion.)

To find either Queen or ZZ Top boring is just ridiculous, even if you don`t like either of these bands music wise, both are legendary rock acts and were renown for their live shows. Also both bands especially in 1980's put out extremely entertaining videos. As for how a moustached man prancing around in a skin tight leotard, or two guitarists with long beards dressed in boiler suits could be deemed boring is beyond me!

This is one of those badly thought out threads, that has even worse thought out examples.

The Dire Straits are boring.
But that's my very subjective opinion.

I dunno, I find Coldplay and the Dave Matthews Band to be very boring, but that's probably because the only two radio stations that come in good by my house are Adult Contemporary and at any given moment a song by either band is playing when you turn on the radio.

Oh God yeah Maximo Park. One of my friends absolutely adores them, albeit it's probably because she's from Newcastle. A part of me thinks if she was from elsewhere she wouldn't be bothered. They are SO dull.

Just about anything that ends in "-core", or any indie bands that aren't dancey.

I cannot fathom how someone can listen to something enough to consider it boring.

If you don't like something, you don't listen, if you don't listen, then how can you find it boring? I don't like U2 or Coldplay, but I know they aren't boring. Some of the bands people have mentioned are unjustifiable imo

That's false. Finding something boring doesn't mean you dislike it, or that you're not trying to like it. It means it was unremarkable to the listener. I've found tons of stuff boring this year; even albums by bands who previously released my favourite albums.

Best Coast was boring because all but three songs are in the same key and they're all written about getting high, for example. Obviously I listened, if I can describe to you what was boring about it.

I've listened enough to the bands I listed to turn them off because I found them boring.

Muse, Muse, Muse, and Muse

I heard one of their songs on the radio the other day and I have no clue how they're considered a prog band.

Not as far as I've ever heard in my life.

And I used to be a huge Muse fan.

Unless done right, anything that repeats the chorus 2045 times. Makes it difficult as **** for me to appreciate Nirvana the way I used to.

If the song you heard was from their newest album, yeah I agree. You should listen to Origin of Symmetry, their sophomore album. You may like it.

Isn't this just another thread whereby people can be negative about music and post a list of bands that they don't like with no reasons why they don't like them?

It seems easier to be negative about music than positive about music these days.

If you don't like something then fine but at least state the reasons why and put some damn thought into it.

There is no such thing as boring music, and I am appalled by anyone who disagrees.
