Default Songs To Seduce / Be Seduced

I know that music is very important to everyone on this forum. I also know that most people I've talked to about music have loved it for many reasons, one significant one being the feelings it evokes in them.

It's also really popular in pop culture to show people being seduced because of a song played on the radio / sung by a cute suitor / put on a mix tape. Are there any songs which have aided in someone's "seducing you" of that you've used to seduce someone yourself?

Just curious, really, and I was listening to a mix an ex made for me, featuring her singing a song which pretty much sealed the deal for me. The song was, strangely, not one of my favorite songs, but it definitely worked in her favor.

"Maps" by The Yeah Yeah Yeahs.

Also, even if you've never used music in seduction or been seduced with music, do you think it could ever happen? Which song do you think would seduce you? Which song would you use if you were really trying to reach someone romantically through music?

Lovage's album Music to Make Love to Your Old Lady By is one of the best modern day seductive albums. Jennifer Charles' and Mike Patton's voices meld so well together and Dan the Automator's hypnotic production, it creates such an intimate concoction.

We have a few similar threads regarding this but if we are talking romantically then I suggest these:

  • To seduce, any classic from the King, like these two:

Also, U2's In a Little While. After all, I only follow Bono's example...

♫ "...that girl, she's mine / Well I've known her since / since she was / a little a girl / with Spanish eyes..." ♫

In Seville. An excellent excuse to "make the most" of the song. Smart guy, Bono.

  • To be seduced, Kiss Me (Sixpence None The Richer):
