I think Pere might be french, so it is indeed pronounced as "pair"

Then perhaps they shouldn't spell it like Linkin.

Jag Panzer - I know that in German are supposed to pronounce a "J" as a "Y", but since this is an American band and I have never heard it pronounced, I don't know if they pronounce it the correct way or not.

I've always pronounced it as Pier.
I guess that's my close proximity to France showing.

According to wiki, it's derived from the French Père Ubu. And here are a couple more I just thought of:

Kayo Dot (I say kai-yo but it possibly is intended to rhyme with mayo)
Dredg (is it like dredge or dread-g?)
Jaga Jazzist (I'm assuming it's something like yaga yazzist since they're Norwegian)

Sun Ra apparently went by many pseudonyms like Sonny Ra. No idea why, Sun Ra is oft inexplicable at times.

There's a typeface called Univers and it's pronounced "yoo-nih-verz". Maybe the band is pronounced the same.

I always thought Kayo Dot was pronounced "kay-oh" and Dredg was pronounced the same as "dredge", but I've wondered the exact same think about Jaga Jazzist.
