Terence Hill, as recently confirmed during an interview to an Italian TV talk-show, was offered the role but rejected it because he considered it "too violent". Dustin Hoffman and John Travolta declined the role for the same reason. When Al Pacino was considered for the role of John Rambo, he turned it down when his request that Rambo be more of a madman was rejected.

"Eminem is the only rapper I actually like, because he actually has a voice. If you know what I mean"

Friend: Listen to this song, it's been stuck in my head for days
*plays generic pop disco throwback song with annoying scene vocals*
Me: Meh
Friend: God you are so close minded!

Eminem is a real rapper because he doesn't rap about sex, cars, and money - he raps about life, innit.

My housemate has said this on more than one occasion

"I don't like the Beatles. I only like their songs when other people perform them."

I ask her WHY she doesn't like it when the Beatles perform their own music and she can't really give me an answer. It's irritating.

Also, today in class my friend said "I don't like metal". I asked why, and he said "Like Metallica... I just don't like their singles and stuff".

1) Metallica's radio-friendly singles don't represent their actual sound very well
2) because Metallica is the only metal band out there?

On another forum...

"I don't know about rap. I prefer listening to music."

That's not the issue. The issue is that she likes their songs, but cannot explain why she dislikes it when THEY perform their songs
