For the Bob and the Folkslave because I think they'd really enjoy this album, upbeat, fun folk-punk with great male/female vocals.

:) thank you....it's downloading and i listen to it in a bit

Thanks! I'm looking forward to it, though I'm not totally sure what it is. :)

Yeah, I just realized I didn't type anything about it.

It's a dub album, made by Fin Greenall, who most people know as Fink, the singer-songwriter. What alot of people don't know is that he started as a DJ with Ninja Tune records and ended up recording an album with them which was electronic/chillout/dub-ness, before he went and recorded his next three albums doing his singer-songwriter thing.

This is his side project called Sideshow, which is basically him going back to his electronic roots, and doing a much better job of it than his earlier attempts, in my humble opinion.

Anyway, I hope you get some enjoyment out of it!

Owen Pallett - Heartland

I know you're a big Arcade Fire fan, and Owen Pallett actually writes and arranges the string sections on all three AF albums, as well as plays occasionally with the band. His solo work is based around the violin, and he plays parts and loops them to create a bit of a one-man orchestra. Heartland is really lovely, and if I had to compare I'd say it's part Arcade Fire, part Sufjan Stevens, and honestly, I thought it was better than the Suburbs this year.

A nice indie psychedelia album with some dream pop qualities. I've actually been listening to Cocteau Twins, School of Seven Bells, and some other bands under the dream-pop umbrella with little success. This seems to be a good bridge to the genre... it's pretty accessible with several infectious and easy-to-enjoy tracks like "Hudson Line" and "Goddess On A Hiway". I'm not really eager to compare them to Flaming Lips like many others, but maybe that's because I'm not super familiar with the Lips' work. Anyway.

Thanks brooooooo

Thank you :) I was going to check this one out at one time but I forgot about it (nothing unordinary since there is so much stuff I need to listen to that some of the stuff slips my mind from time to time. Thank god the stuff comes back haunting me :) ) Now it's good time to check this one out. I'll tell you what I think about it after I've listened to it.
