Regarding using equalization to isolate vocals, that's a lot more difficult to achieve with any kind of acceptable quality, as in many cases other instrumentation share the same frequency range that vocals occupy in the mix, which makes them impossible to really separate from the vocals.
I see. So it's impossible then. Lame.

Thanks.

Proof that the Beach Boys could have done it just fine without their instruments. Makes me wish there were more master recordings of them acapella.

This song is 80% Acapella. It has a little Spanish guitar..20% only.

Brand new Freestyle Fellowship, killer a cappela track with a little surprise at the end.

Some interesting songs here, which show the extrordinary variety of sound that is possible with the human voice. Thank you Ska Lagos Jew Sun Ra and Jack Pat for unearthing some pretty bizzarre material.

I notice a few contributions here that are almost a capella, but they don`t quite make it to the end of the song, so I`m going to play the purist card, and invite you to listen to these, in which the only accompaniment is the occassional foot stomp or jangled keyring :-

Default Acapellas

Hey guys!

Any ideas where to get free acapellas (vocals) of mostly trance music as I'm more into trance? :P

Thanks!

Alistair, I've merged your thread with this previous acapella thread. Read through the replies to see if one of them helps you out.
