Just around the time Appetite For Destruction was becoming huge Guns N Roses were opening in Europe for fellow infamous purveyors of trashy debauched kick ass Rock n Roll....

Iron Maiden.

In 92, the Ramones (followed by the Utah Saints) opened for U2 at their Zooropa concert in Madrid . I just remember the Ramones literally being booed off stage while they were playing (I think everyone just wanted to see U2 and didn't care much for anything elseat that point). It was a one time appearance for them I think with U2 during this particular concert as Pearl Jam did the rest of the European tour with U2. Honestly I would never have paired the Ramones with U2, although I realize that U2 were big fans of them.. but I was glad I got to see them.

Children Of Bodom opening for BLS and Clutch. Not really sure what they were thinking with that.
