And the song I truly don't care for is that brutal cover Madonna did of American Pie.

I also won't listen to anything by Don Henley. Not so much because they're bad songs, but because back in the mid 80's, I heard a radio interview with him, promoting a new album, and he said his new album covered topics people 'needed' to hear about. I remember the actual quote:

"Why should I play songs people want to hear? I play songs people need to hear"

Excuse me, but don't be so pretentious as to tell me what I need to hear. I have not heard an entire Don Henley song since. I will stop what I"m doing and turn the radio off when he comes on. I don't NEED to hear him.

That'll show him!!! LOL.
He hasn't been nearly as successful ever since

The Smiths - Golden Lights

Proof even the greats can slip up from time to time. It is a cover though.

What makes me smile is the fact that her boob looks like it's being 'bounced' by someone else!!!

This isn't the avatar topic, I know, but I'll give that one a 10/10!!

Umm... no, if you were to say a SOAD song you should have said "Lonely Day" (as I'll admit it's crap). But Chop Suey is a great song.

Joe Dolce - "Shaddap You Face"

Insipid novelty no1 in the UK, Feb 1981 - replacing John Lennon's 'Woman'.
It stayed at No1 for 3 weeks, and kept Ultravox's 'Vienna' from reaching top of the charts. A twee cheery little sing-along song, delivered in a stereotypical Italian accent. Mercifully a one hit wonder, neither him (cancer, I hope) nor the song were ever heard of again - like a little national shame we stay quiet about.
Still haunts me though.

and

ABSOLUTELY ANYTHING by Peter (f*c*ing) Andre

1st class tosser using a 2nd rate reality TV show and his 3rd class media-whore silicon 'celebrity' girlfriend, to ressurect his non-event cheesy pap music career, which was 4th class to begin with.
The less about said about "Insania" or "Mystery Girl" the better.
Nice abs though, you twunt. I'd love to introduce them to my friend 'Mr Stabby' . . .

Heartwarming to think he's probably in Aus - as far as is physicallly possible from here!

Say . . . you seem to know a lot about him . . .
