I agree, sad but not a surprise when she lived the lifestyle she did - I wonder if it was fame that "spoiled" her or if she would have gone that way even if she wasn't famous...

Well I think this thread has outlived its usefulness. The people who wanted to remember her have said their piece, and if anyone else still wants to remember her, you can do so in the Amy Winehouse thread.

Also considering so many people seem pretty passionate in their disgust of how the mainstream media chooses to remember people who die, I would encourage you to take that frustration and make a thread out of it in the Current Events sub forum. I think it's a good topic that deserves discussion, and I think we all have something to say on the matter.
