Actually, you are right and wrong.

Coldplay is good and Oasis is not.

They are nothing alike though.

Coldplay, I remember when Yellow came out and it sounded like a novelty song in a way....But I like them even though I tried not too...Fix You is a great song...that whole record is great...They have gotten better with each album until Viva la Vida which is still great but X and Y will be hard to top ever...great record.

Parachutes is good Shiver is a great song...So is Trouble...Worth buying but definitely not as mature as their last two records...All their albums have a different personality...All are good in their own way.

I used to love a Rush of Blood. I will still say that's their best album until I hear XandY. I already know Live the Life sucks.

Viva la Vida grew on me over time...It took a few listens but it does sound like its missing something maybe Chris Martin is too happy these days...Gwyneth needs to mess with his head a little or something.

Coldplay has gotten worse with each album IMO, Rush of Blood might be better than Parachutes but the last two albums have just been unbearable.

Viva la Vida was pretty mediocre other than a few songs, I'll agree but I thought X&Y was excellent and their best work.

Rush of Blood and Parachutes were both good but not quite as good as X&Y and not as bad as Viva la Vida.

They have matured and sound different but suck...idk...X and Y will go down as a classic...That record has no weakness.
