Coldplay

I gotta say their music is chockers with hooks - listen to the very appealing riffs and repetitions of "In My Place", the catchy piano parts in Speed of Sound and Clocks, the very ear appealing sound of the strings in much of Viva La Vida - totally laden with hooks, all throughout their material....

I like Coldplay, but I'm beginning to tire of them, and quick.

Parachutes was their best album, imho.

Each to their own - I personally feel they are getting more intetresting with each and every new album... but that's just humble two cents worth!

i think they sound too much like U2, i really like u2 but coldplay kinda... sucks

From all that I've heard of U2 in recent years and albums I'd have to propose the exact opposite... U2 get increasingly bland / boring/ tired with each release...

... but I digress - I think I led this board well off topic last time i got on my U2 soap box... hmmm...

Well put. Me too. I really respect them as musicians but
they always sounded like a dirge.

I lost a lot of respect over the Satriani incident too...Satriani included.
He should drop the Viva La Vida lawsuit. Coldplay is lame for lifting a tune
and trying to get away with it
