The Beatles Are Overrated

Before you head becomes swollen allow me to explain.

Overrated=Held in a higher esteem than it's worth or value.

1. The Beatles receive praise for innovation. What I find silly is that the same people who say this fail to agree that pre-Rubber Soul the Beatles were nothing more than a marketable pop band that had no actual worth.

2. The Beatles are given credit for being revolutionary when other artists of their time were already ahead of the curve.

3. The Beatles are known to be the greatest band of all time. That is complete nonsense.

I do enjoy listening to the Beatles post-Rubber Soul and will admit that Rubber Soul, Revolver and The Beatles are among the greatest albums of all time, but the amount of credit they receive (in accordance to what they've done) is disgusting.

The Beatles are probably underrated among knowledgeable music fans, just for the fact that people say they're overrated so much.
