It's the only Kansas album I actually like.
Miracles out of Nowhere and Carry on, Wayward son are just nice tracks.
Can't do anything about that ;D.

Still, why did you expect to see Enya's Entire Discography?

I like irony... I should have known better with you.

Don't you think that "Carry On My Wayward Son" is just a little bit stupid? You can't deny the ROCK & ROLL, but I mean honestly: "though my mind could think I still was a madman"?
That said: the final guitar solo is absolutely amazing.

Hi, Autism. Often miss irony, haha.
Same goes with sarcasm.
But that's okay. I really didn't notice .

I never ever cared bout Lyrics. I listen to the voice the same way I listen to an instrument.
When it comes to Kansas, I agree that most of their stuff is crap. They just got three or four good songs and a lot, a lot of crap. It's a crap band, they just made a mistake with those couple of songs and actually did something right

I love that last comment. You like it despite knowing that it's crap, just because it sounds great. I like the sound too: "Carry On Wayward Son" is one song I will ALWAYS listen to when it comes up for this reason, although I know the lyrics are really dumb.

Haha 'just ginger'. Lol
But what I meant is that I am autistic! That's why I didn't get your cynicism rightaway

That's really the thing. You cannot help but like it, altough it isn't absolutely brilliant and altough the band isn't absolutely great.
I've got the same thing with songs like... Don't fear the reaper and Then came the last days of may by BöC. I dislike almost all of their other songs. Or err... Free Bird and Sweet Home Alabama by Lynyrd Skynyrd. I don't care for LS, but I like those songs.
All these songs have the same feeling somehow. You cannot help but like them, even though the band has proven itself not to be brilliant.
I should add that Then Came the Last Days of May probably is an exception, that's really just a great song

This is quite interesting... next time I see your music collection I won't be so quick to yell "CRAAAP!!!" but I shall try and judge each album on the individual merit of each song. That makes your list sound pretty different.

Although TBH I love the Blue Oyster Cult

Edit: Congrats on your 1900th post! I know it's got pretty pointless saying that by now but it makes me feel like I've been part of some really special moment in your life!

Dream Theater is in my top 100 bands because of Mike Portnoy basically, but Mangini did great with the new album. Petrucci is cool, but I don't find him in my top guitarists list really. Rudess is pretty amazing. Altogether, their songs are hit or miss. I really enjoy about 50% of their work.

Haha, I usually don't buy new records for one or two songs, but I do buy second hand records for a couple of bucks for one or two songs. So not all records in my collection are stuff I actually like. Sometimes it's sentiment or just one song

I don't know. I Can't seem to find any really good songs apart from Last Days of May and Don't Fear the Reaper. It's always... Nice try, but it doesn't work.
Can you recommend me something?

Hahaha, be sure not to miss the 2000th.

Haha, funny you pick that track. I make a lot of mixed tapes and this is the only BöC song that I put on my mix tapes, together with the ones I mentioned. So you're spot on!
I just noticed I always see this song as the weakest song of the mix tape. So I thought I'd like it, but that turned out to be only the first few times I listened to it.

Another example?
