I'm not against covers. In fact, I love them; I mean, Saints by Marc Ribot is one of my favourite albums. Go ahead and do it, man, if you think you bring something new or a different interpretation, etc. By your spelling of Jimmy, I assume that you mean Hendrix? Ok so here is my submission, I just learned it so its very rough and I mainly just did the intro and part of first verse since time had to be short. The other entries seemed to be around 1:30 so thats what this is. Their is only 1 overdub sadly because I cant figure out how to add drums with sonar yet. Freebase you may need to answer a few questions. Also no bass since my old coworker stole mine.

I chose this because its the song that got me into Hendrix/SRV/Trower and the blues in general. I listen to it and everytime I think about when I first discovered all the great blues albums of the 50's/60's/70's.
