Led Zeppelin Worst Album....

I'm pretty sure CODA was a "Contractual Obligation" album. At the end of their reign with their record company who, like others, ripped off the Band. They were threatened with a Law suit if they didn't record. Hence CODA really was lacking in any sort of enthusiasm from the band.

Don't forget, at this stage, Jimmy Page was ..... well we all know the story.

In Through the Out Door

they sound extremely bored and out of ideas

if "Physical Graffiti" were split into two albums, i'd pick the one with the lesser songs

TBO just till now i didnt even know they had a album after Graffiti i think thats were most people stopped with Zeppelin 1975 :P

Most people didn't stop with Zeppelin in 1975, they were just as popular up until their demise in 1980 after John Bonham's death.

As many others have already stated, Coda was a compilation album featuring odds and ends like live performances and stuff from earlier sessions that didn't make the studio albums. Some of the stuff on Coda, which was released in 1982, dates back to 1970.

i thought coda was fine, as an outtakes album

there have been worse by other artists

I think such compilations are generally for those with a particular interest in the band who knows what it is they're getting

Normally, I don't find such albums particularly good, but there are some exceptions like National Health's Missing Pieces which really contains some great tracks.

For me, In Through the Out Door is their least interesting album. When it came out, I thought it sounded too weak and watered down overall for a Led Zeppelin album and It's the only one I still don't bother listening to all these years later.

if you take all the "bonus" tracks Yoko Ono put on Lennon's solo albums, and compile them into one album, it'd probably be the worst album by a solo Beatle

Coda I would def omit from this list as well, I mean We're Gonna Groove is amazing, and Bonzo's Montreux really makes Bonham shine.
