frank zappa was pretty funny when he performed on SNL

then again when he isnt he funny, good performance though

i also like Elvis Costello on SNL

I believe Conan obrien once said that he thought Neil Young was the best musical performer he ever saw on the show. I don't know about that, but...

Has any seen the second episode of Season one, with Paul Simon? Some of the performances are good but there are hardly any skits, its like a freaking Paul Simon concert.

Dave Grohl playing with Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers a number of years back was pretty freaking cool.
