How are you on Power Pop/80's Rock? I have been getting a number of those albums via $1 used bins.

I'm saving a lot of my Garage Punk for my own blog/journal, which is planned to be connected to a lot of 60's history, and my love of 70's-80's music may be unleashed via this. I'm giving it some thought.

If you have an interest let me know, and I'll see if we can find something that suits you.

Anyone who wants in post here or PM me, and give me a basic idea of what you like. A list of my albums can be provided if required.

Now this is a very interesting offer, and I have a suggestion for you:

From what I can gather, darling, you and I appear to be the only Richie Sambora fans on this forum, and I was really pleased when I read you giving "Father Time" a mention in the "Greatest Rock Ballads" thread last year.
So what I'm proposing is this - would you like me to write a special review of "Stranger in This Town" for YOUR journal rather than mine, and if you like I'll also do one of "Undiscovered Soul" as well?

I'm offering because as an artist he has very little mention here on MB and I think it would be a good idea to start a little discussion about his albums together in your journal, rather than me talk to myself.

I'm also a very big fan of all his work, in fact both his albums I'm planning on reviewing are in my ten favourite nineties albums!

In return, can you accept me as your son and forgive me the wicked sins I've committed?

Love,

Salami xxx

Ah, Ritchie rocks! Why hasn't he more albums?

Just a few things: this is for people to guest in MY journal, and write reviews that I can post there. I thought that was clear, but just in case it's not, that's what I'm looking at (can't be a guest in your own journal).

Also, as well as mentioning "Father Time" (great song!) you may not have noticed that I already reviewed "Undiscovered soul" some time back http://www.musicbanter.com/members-j...ml#post1149611. I'm not sure about "Stranger in this town", as then that leaves me no more Ritchie albums to review, but I'll think about that.

Finally, I can't accept you as my son, but will accept you as my daughter.

Ah no, this was entirely an offer that I write in your journal, I have consider this an honour and a privilege and this is entirely for the "guest column" kind of appearance.

How on earth can I have missed this??? I apologise, I really didn't realise you'd written that, I shall read it immediately - and by the way I'm incredibly excited about reading it!
If it's OK then, shall I take on "Stranger in This Town" which of the two I've listened to more often and would love to talk about? Remember I'm not intending this has anything to do with my journal, this will become your intellectual property!
