Default What music do your parents/siblings like?

We are all open about what music we like, so why don't we learn about what our families like as well? Lol, that's basically why I made this thread, I find it interesting.

Bonus Question(s): Do you like the music your families listen to and do they like the music you listen to?

My mom's music is a bit of a hit or miss thing, and hard to explain. Her music catalogue encompasses music from the 60s to today, but really mainly specific artists/genres. She likes some classic rock such as The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, The Rolling Stones and The Who. Moving into the 70s, she likes some disco (ABBA, Donna Summer), she's really into 80s pop and soft rock as well (REO Speedwagon, Supertramp, Madonna, Michael Jackson, 80s has beens/one-hit wonders). In the 90s, it was mainly adult contemporary/pop/soft-rock artists (Sarah MacLachlan, Sheryl Crow, Celine Dion), moving into pop an R&B in the 2000s (Enrique Iglesias, Maroon 5, Lady Gaga, Shakira, Nelly).

She also has a soft spot for Latin music as well.

My dad listens to mainly Croatian folk and pop/rock music.

My 14 year old sister likes tweeny pop rock/pop punk bands like NeverShoutNever, Marianas Trench, Plain White Ts, A Rocket To The Moon, Panic! At The Disco, Paradise Fears).

Everyone in my family hates my music...they all think it's weird...
My mom's more classic rock oriented side was where my musical preferences blossomed, though.
