well, for me, it's Jim Morrison for lines like "your brain is squirming like a toad'

John Cale for the entire "The Gift"'s lyrics which never stops to be haunting

and Dylan for lines like "the Nightwatchman clicks on his flashlight, and wonders if it's them or him that's insane'
