You guys missed the point. I was point the pacific periods that were the best music. Not all of 1980s had great music. late 2000s in my view was caught in the nonsense of copycatting of Lady Gaga and it continues today.

1980s had some funky stuff I'll give it that, but gawsh. Everyone 1960s was the best generation of music.

Really? So you're saying every album that was released in 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012 were Lady Gaga copycats?

No. But most of popular music were artists copying Lady Gaga in some ways in my view. I do not apperciate that.

Than stop listening to the radio and search for the music you like. The radio doesn't give a damn if you don't "appreciate" it.

And by "specific periods" you named every single year from 1960-2005 besides the middle of the 1980's <_<

1960s
1970s
Early 1980s
Late 1980s
1990s
Early & Mid 2000s
1960s implies the years 1960-1969
1970s = 1970-1979
Early 1980's could be 1980-1984
Late 1980's could be 1987-1990
1990s = 1990-1999
Early and Mid 2000s means 2000-2006 or 2007

So basically the only specific periods you don't like is 1985/86 and 2008-present.
