I go both ways... seriously I kinda feel like they are both different and (equally as loveable...) But if I had to pick one to be better it would be the smiths.....

This is pretty tough..Of the songs I like, I definitely like The Smiths more...but I find it tough to listen to a whole album of theirs and I have no problem listening to The Cure..so on that note, I'll give it to The Cure.

I never heard of The Smoths, that is such an awesome name for a band. They're like somewhere between The Smiths and The Moths! What are some of their albums do rec?

I love when bands do a take on another band's name prob becuase it was taken already like Pygmy Lush and Lush, Mahogany Rush and Rush, The Stones and The Rolling Stones, The Guess Who and The Who, Guster and Duster.

The Queen is Dead is a fantastic album, I like Cemetary Gates and There is a light. I like the rhythym guitar on Cemetary and the vocals of Mo on There is a light. He has a great tortured quality to his sound and I even enjoy the droning on and legatto phrasing alot.

I think the Cure song is called Just Like Heaven, and its certainly one of the standouts on the album. Kiss me kiss me kiss me was great for the time. I would say the standouts for me would be How Beautiful You Are and All I Want. All I Want is a powerful song, it really has a great vocal tone and the drum track was laid down perfect.
