That's one of the things I like about it (along with the fantastic songwriting, arrangement and production. It kind of neat to hear someone with such a distinct vocal style sing in a completely different way and pull it off so well.

One of my least favorite songs on the album but still decent.
why? that album took me so long to get used to...it's so strange lol

I love the Brian Wilson recording of Smile. Smiley Smile is just okay. It has it's moments but it feels like the cobbled-together album that it is. And I have yet to hear Smile Sessions.
