Default Band Name Maker (Automatic Band Name Generator)

Someone recently started a thread, asking for band name recommendations.
Thought I'd post this info for anyone who might be interested...

There is a site called 'bandnamemaker' where you can get automatically generated band names. The site also gives you the option of adding words before you generate a list of names. Some of the results can be quite hilarious and there are many translation errors, adding to the humor.
The site also has a porno name maker, bumper sticker maker, acronym maker, auto-transposer and HTML text generator.

Here are some results, using the band name maker...

Spew Hunk
Radioactive Women Of The Refried Rain
Hazard Of The Stereo
Ethereal Requiem
Rebel Of The Inspired Desperation
Spent Mite And The Bipolar Elixir
Wanking Secular
Goat Thirst
Depressing Space
Honey Pussy
Route Of The Bitter
Point Of The Hairy Poser
Vomit Canal
Strategic Savior
Spectacle Of The Vengeful Loser
Defunct Flaccid
Droopy Shred And The Schlong
Sleeping Hornet
Punk Fiction
Electric Doom
Splooge Bunker
Tangled Noise
Fecal Mother
Rage of Harmony
Sound of the Unholy
Forgotten Explosive
Ass Clowns of Tone

Lots of good, clean, time wasting fun!

How much do you want to bet that there's really a band out there with the name "Sound of the Unholy"?

I have to admit, I dig Ethereal Requiem.

Somehow I can picture "Ass Clowns of Tone" being a ska band.

I thought it too. Funny how there's a genre connotation to every one of these.

Heh. Very true. "Fecal Mother" would definitely be a death metal band.

"Hazard of the Stereo" is very metalcore to me.

"Punk Fiction" has a great ring to it, I've got to say, though you could never get away from the Pulp Fiction comments.
