OK, I though nobody took notice, but there's the story...

Back around 1988-9 there was an EP by Dub Sex, so look at this image at Discogs first.

It's not the exact image, but pretty much the same concept as the cover to the great Blur album Parklife.

I remember looking at an old NME from the Late 80's in my collection and catching this cover when the Blur album was released and thinking that looked a little familiar. Certainly not the exact photo, but you know what I mean. Tribute or copy, it's your opinion.
I took off the original post myself to get the facts straight.

MICHAEL JACKSON - Conspiracies!

Ok, maybe this was too recent and we were all just over saturated by the bombardment of the news of his death...But there is so much controversy around Michael Jackson's death!

Well that backtracks down a whole list of shocking events and conspiracies in MJ's life.

Of course there's the legal problems with sex assault cases.

His hair caught on fire taping a pepsi commercial.

He used to be a little black boy but he died an old white woman.

The King of Pop married The King's daughter.

He had a surrogate mother for his kids, but his children are fair skinned with fair features. Is he the father?

He had a monkey named Bubbles.

He named one of his kids BLANKET.

He held said BLANKET out the window of a hotel.

He used to sleep in a hyperbolic chamber.

He had an amusement park in his yard.

He was beat as a child by Joe Jackson.

About his skin and features, he actually did interviews where he swore that he had not had ANY plastic surgery and his skin condition was a medical matter.

....MJ could fill a shocking music moments thread all by himself!

*Oh I also saw a clip once of him on stage talking to the dancers. It was a leaked video and I only saw it once. He was giving direction to the dancers. He had a deep voice. He had a regular guy's voice. I don't know why he was doing the 'he he' squeaky voice. I wish I could find that clip again.

I think the conspiracy about songs being played backwards that have "hidden message" are interesting sometimes. I know the beetles songs being play backwards about Paul's death is fake, but the other popular ones are kind of creepy as hell to listen to. I absoluty HATE listening to Stairway to Heaven backwards. That one is the most chilling one of all.

I watched a video about his death. I can't remember what it was called, but a woman that is completely a believer that he isn't dead at all, gives her reasons on why she thinks he is still alive and trying to convience others to believe he is still alive as well, because she would say things like "Still believe he is dead? Well, you will think otherwise after I tell you this" (or something along those lines) Its been along time since I watched it so I can't really remember, but I know she said something similar after each example.

I heard that Jaco Pastorius was murdered in a random act of crime outside a club or something, but i don't know if that's actually true or not.

The problem with Franco Pepe Kalle is that he is a unpredictable character. There is surprising info about this man. You think he only likes Franco and Pepe Kalle but when you find out that he hears other artists, you are shock.

Nice link. I never noticed that about Parklife... or any of those albums for that matter. I feel like some of them are more subtle (ex. Coldplay's Parachutes) and others are more of an obvious copy (ex. the) Sgt Pepper one. 'Stolen' album covers weren't really something I'd ever thought about. Nice catch!

@slappy - I think the 'hidden messages' in some songs played backwards are just myths, but I have a few on my iPod I can listen to backwards and the normally-distorted vocals are actually saying something forwards - which means they were backwards in the forward version. A bit trippy, really... But I think some songwriters are clever and like to throw stuff like that in for fun, haha.
