I found half of it to be good and half of it to be too syrupy, but I don't deny it's influence.

It's not too bad but I would definitely make some changes (Skynyrd, The Velvet Underground, and Jimmy Hendrix higher; Nirvana, The Rolling Stones, and Elvis lower to name a few).
