The albums I have on RYM from 1993.

Ah, should have had a flick through this first. I'm familiar with 90% of artists here but just haven't heard these albums. I'll need to give the Tribe, Fugazi and Unwound records a play definitely. I used to have In Utero but completely went off Nirvana. I've been meaning to get around to Catherine Wheel also. All in good time, eh?
Might need to organize my own 'wishlist' to organize all the albums I've said I'd give a listen to in the past and forgotten about because they weren't right in front of me on mp3crank and I'd probably have to look for them.

A bit of a no-brainer for me. Next would either be EVOL by Sonic Youth, Candy Apple Grey by Husker Du and Sound Of Confusion by Spacemen 3.

89 wasn't an excellent year. It was a bit crap overall. But this album is awesome.

I actually think it was a pretty amazing year for music. Quite a few favorites of mine came out then.

Correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't 89 the year of Doolittle & Disintegration. I think it was probably around the year a lot of post hardcore bands were putting out early material whilst a lot of the prominent 80's band like Pixies and The Cure were in their more mature musical stages. Even hip-hop was moving further away from its basic origins and becoming more topical and controversial.

Zero; I'll take your word for it regarding 1993. It's not really an era I'm too familiar with (early 90's indie) and I'd gladly take a few recommendations for albums from this time.
