It matters because it is a topic of conversation related to music that can go many ways depending on the people talking about it.

If you don't like the poll then just don't vote in it.

Did you not see the word "IF" that's your prerogative. I'm not telling you not to and even where to post. I'm just explaining why the poll is there and what the OP was attempting to do even if you don't care about it or think it's stupid.

Really he's from New Jersey, don't go blaming the other 49 states for Bon Jovi.

Canada and USA is no comparison. USA music is much better than Canadian music. Most Canadian artists get success they come to America and have some great music made for Americans than Canadians. Heck look at Celine Dion, Shania Twain, and even Justin Bieber. Canadian music would not exist if American music have not made the progress that it has made.

What an ignorant comment. Canadians didn't just start making music when the American music industry was growing. WTF.

No Burning Down, you missed the point. What I meant that the music would not have the popularity if it was not the help of AMERICAN MUSIC business. I mean come on, Canadian artists get most of their ideas from American music. Maybe Canadian music had its start but it is a footnote. You know that Burning Down. Most Canadian artists who have fame got really from USA not really from Canada. Is not Celine Dion, Shania Twain, and Justin Bieber are Canadians.

The only reason I voted USA is bc I have pride. Sorry, but at least I'm honest.
That's why I said the poll is kinda moronic/ignorant. Like who cares where any song is from - it doesn't make who they ae or mean a whole lot - music is a unversal language.

You're listening to the wrong Canadian artists, anyways. And yeah, most pop musicians around the world are influenced by American music, not just Canadian musicians. It's always been that way and will always continue to be that way. However, there are a lot of Canadian artists who are very famous here but completely unknown in the US, which is a total shame.

Yes but most Canadian musicians more influenced than other musicians other than British people. I mean the ones who are get their music from American music are Canadian musicians and British musicians. Plus music now is get all westernized which is horrible. I want real African music not hip hop African **** that I am exposed to although they are better than American rap music right now.
