Is some elaborating in order, 'cuz, as it stands, this makes no sense.

The self defense switched places, first it was okay for Trayvon to defend himself and then when Zimmerman was getting his head beat in it was okay to defend himself but lethal force was excessive imo. Also, he shouldn't have been stalking him in the first fucking place especially after being told to stay put. What kind of neighborhood watch disobeys orders like that and also as neighborhood watch all you are supposed to be doing is watching and reporting. Not acting. Then after all is said and done why the fuck do you have to go and lie about every single fucking thing like you know you did something wrong?

you miss the point on boycotting because its not like boycotting a guy at the farmers market who is an open racist. its boycotting playin shows, costing tons of people who not only had nothin to do with the case or the law, but who also probably AGREE with you. its those ppl they are hurting.

There are organized groups calling for an outright ban of everything from Florida. Not just shows related to the article in the OP.

Yes it may be hurting them but they are going to have to be collateral damage until something is done about that law.

and what if the law isn't changed?? first off from everything we know as the public, there is absolute justification for zimm to pull that trigger. hip hop bunny is exactly correcet. so lets say the law isnt changed, then whats the outcome?? hurting a lot of people financially who have nothing to do with your 'cause' and most likely actually agree with you. do you think those losing money are gonna say 'hey its ok guys i cant afford rent, but theres like a 50% chance a law that will likely never effect me gets changed so its cool!'

i dont believe you think very practically

When people start losing money especially people in power they will do everything and pull any strings they can to make sure something happens.

Also the people at the bottom rung that are losing out financially should be happy that the law gets changed if it does so they don't run into a situation where they have a family member killed and it gets justified by this stupid fucking law.

^ the last is kinda unfair, that's like saying you should be grateful for someone taking a literal dump on you because you're not rich/privileged.

i dont know, sounds like a gigantic gamble to me to risk the livlihood of other people like that.

i have no problem with boycotting as a whole cause it certainly works in some cases, but this case the direction is misguided at best. not to mention im not sure a lot of celebs are even sure what they are boycotting

it is a bit unfair and an extreme tactic to use for change but there are limited options at the moment. There are other things being done besides a boycott but I have a feeling that individuals that are boycotting Florida based products aren't going to have a big impact and in turn it's not going to be hurting people as much if at all.

DJ himself said he would have voted the same way the jurors did. Which leads me to believe WTF are you boycotting then? This is just another way for people to feel important about issues that really have **** all to do with them.

If you actually read my post you would know WTF I was boycotting. The law itself. Stand Your Ground. Go back and read what I typed.

I can't speak for other people but there are a few people that I know of personally that feels a situation like Trayvon Martin could happen to them directly or someone they know and love that's where all of the outrage is coming from. If you are white I wouldn't understand you to sympathize or get it.
