I don't care what you think.

Get back on topic, because I've said this multiple times and I've attempted to change the subject multiple times. Try to turn away from the trial directly, and talk more about whether these artists are actually making a difference.

well of course im gonna respond to your wild and completely wrong assumptions when you falsely label me lol

but back to the artists

rhianna, jay z and rolling stones look like they arent boycotting. much respect to them. i wonder if these artists are gonna boycott the other 20+ states with this law..... i can answer that already and its no. its all a huge PR stunt for most of these ppl. i guess they are afraid of seeming racist or.....something if they dont join others in a boycott. im interested to see how long this fakeness lasts

Looks like the Stevie Wonder boycott is the only true part of this story:

Florida Boycott List That Included Kanye, Jay Z, Alicia Keys Discredited

Quote:

Representatives for a number of artists on a purported list of musicians and performers boycotting the state of Florida in the wake of the George Zimmerman verdict said Tuesday that their clients have never heard of or been contacted about the list.

American Urban Radio Networks White House correspondent April Ryan first reported the list -- which includes heavyweights like Justin Timberlake, Jay Z, Kanye West, Alicia Keys, Madonna and more -- on Monday and credited it to "sources close to the Stevie Wonder camp." The Huffington Post linked to Ryan's list and noted at the time that representatives for artists were being contacted. Late Monday night, HuffPost sources revealed that Rihanna was not involved, despite being named. MotherJones received word that the Rolling Stones -- who also appear on the list -- had never heard of such a campaign.

Additional representatives on Tuesday confirmed to HuffPost that other boldface names on the the list were not involved, but declined to identify their clients on the record. Denials reached a critical mass that began to shed serious doubt on the veracity of the list. On Tuesday, Ryan posted an update on her website in which she said that representatives of artists named "are uncomfortable being identified on that list."

It has nothing to do with race as far as I am concerned, being under the age of 18 is a lot more distressing to me personally. I blame whoever gave Zimmerman the permit to carry a concealed weapon more so than anything else. I sure don't want every wannabe cop around carrying concealed weapons, just looking for a reason to use it, and having the ability to also get away with it in a court of law. I agree 100% that he should've stayed in the car when he was advised to do so. I think there should be more scrutiny concerning exactly who is allowed to have a concealed weapons permit first and foremost.

One, I was directly the term white at 216 because of his nonchalant attitude towards this case not being about race when there is clearly a racial climate/tension related to it.

Two, the relation is that if you are black you feel like wtf? what happened to Trayvon Martin could happen to me as well if I live in Florida or it could happen to someone that I know and love. Even Obama came out and said that he felt it could have happened to him. He could have been Trayvon years ago.

People saying that race isn't an issue in this case makes me laugh just as much as Stephen Colbert saying that he sees no race. It is a bit ignorant to be completely believe that is had NOTHING at all to do with race.

Also back on topic, just like I expected those artists weren't going to stick to it but I guess on the other hand they weren't even involved with it in the first place so now you guys don't have to worry about people "hurting" for this boycott from celebrities.
