Ten thousand L's and O's does not a refutation make.

Just sayin'...

That's where I fall in. Badmotorfinger and Rage's self titled are two albums I loved in high school that I actually still really like. I thought Audioslave's first album was pretty damn good. Tom still got to let loose (he got a bit more creative here than on Battle of Los Angeles imo) and Chris Cornell still sounded great. Out of Exile, though...that's a different story.

What are your thoughts on Revelations?

I can't say I gave it much of a chance. I heard the singles and really didn't have the patience after Out of Exile. Why? Is it worth checking out?

I feel like it was a solid release through and through and they made up for Out of Exile. Give it a spin and let me know you if you feel the same way.

For whatever reason I always found myself getting really bored about halfway through the first two Audioslave albums (didn't even bother with the 3rd minus the first single "Original Fire" or whatever it was called). I always enjoyed the singles but the rest of the albums always felt like filler. It really did just feel like a Chris Cornell/ Tom Morello project, whereas each member of RATM felt absolutely vital to that sound.

I'm not sure I've heard that entire album so can't comment on it as a whole. All I can tell you is every single song I've ever heard by Audioslave seemed dull, middle of the road and very forgettable to me. Nothing really distinguishes them, which to me is one of the worst possible attributes a band can have.
