From my personal perspective, I'm a hundred times less likely to take your posts seriously if your board handle = your band name. I would consider making an entirely new profile and starting over if you're serious about wanting to be a participating member here.

There are many regulars here that have their own bands, they seldom discuss their own music, they may occasionally discuss a recent gig as a "My Day" type of post, but they never try to promote themselves.

What Smeenus said.
You wouldn't know that I was a double-platinum artist just by looking at my forum name.

I'm also not that. But still. If I was, you wouldn't know it.

Seriously? I have all your albums, and "Freebase Dali live at Madison Square Gardens" is a classic!

Yeah, but it's not as good as the one he did with Bette Midler.

Ghetto Booty by Boy George feat. Freebase Dali was all the rage in 1988.

I think it's a bit much that they're charging USD 200 for a ticket for the upcoming gig though. Think he's forgotten it's all about the fans and not so much about the ten homes, three yachts, classic car collection and his own private island.

I preferred it when he was playing the coffee-houses of New York with an acoustic guitar and a mouthorgan. The acoustic guitar had an overdose I believe and the mouthorgan went to to become a big film star...

These films featuring Freebase's mouthorgan, were they pretty dirty?

I think (and don't quote me on this) that all he could get was little parts in prison movies. It was probably quite dirty in there all right.

Ugh, a third account?!?!?!? Tbh I was going to make that my name whether I promoted my music or not just because I find the name so stupid that it's amusing. Considering no one has even heard my music (And I don't recommend you do) I think we can just forget about my name being my band and recognize it as the guy who ended up in a really awkward situation because he's too A.D.D. to read any rules. I'm gonna say you can ban this account and bring back the original one whenever you have the time.

Why not just use this account? It's already active and you've made plenty of posts with it.
