I don't know if this counts as first because my mother was pregnant with me:

but probably the first concert I fully remember would be this one:

"Best" concerts are kind of relative, so I don't know.

First: Black Sabbath, but I don't remember it.
Best: Shabazz Palaces on their Quazarz tour is still tops. Irreversible Entanglements is up there too.

Age four attending a combined church chior performance of Handel’s Messiah. Got myself in trouble telling a woman sitting next to me to stop talking during one of the solo arias.

I saw Soul Asylum tour in '93 with Cracker opening. It was a blast. I still listen to Dave Pirner and co. Great band.

My first concert was a local rock band in my hometown. It was an amazing experience and I had a great time. My best concert was a Foo Fighters show in Amsterdam. The energy was incredible and the music was amazing.

Underworld Live at The Roseland Ballroom, NYC October 27, 2010.

Felix da Housecat was the opener. UW opened with their recent collaborative single "Downpipe" recorded with D. Ramirez and Mark Knight, then played many of their classics, and closed the show with my favorite anthem, "Moaner."

I'm visible in the front row in my top hat on the concert video bootleg. And I have an audio rip of the show as a keepsake.

Best show of my life.

Shot I took at the show -

You wore a top hat to a concert? I bet the people standing behind you loved that.

Ha! I was waiting for that comment!

It was my earliest topper - very low profile only as tall as the top of my head.

It was a great show.
