Fair enough, I just didn't know that.

I don't think this needs to be that complicated though, sorry if I made it so.
It is for sure I don't want to litter the list with that stuff, and I'm guessing you were talking about the Black Sabbath inclusion?

I guess that was what inspired my post, yeah.

There's no rule against it, just seems tired to me.

I'm not saying fill it up with the usual banter of a usual best of list, but it shouldn't just be stuff not many people have heard of for the sake of it.

all you need is revolver and Rubber Soul

137. Throbbing Gristle - D.o.A: The Third and Final Report of Throbbing Gristle (1978)

personally i feel every Throbbing Gristle album should be on this list...and i plan to add at least two more....but this is in my opinion a real gem out of their discography.....

This shows the nihilism intermixed with the love and the pop sensibility....

opening straight up with exactly what you would expect and what from these friendly people and slowly morphing into the beautiful feeling of Weeping....then straight back into the psychedelic nightmare of Hamburger Lady and straight into the wonderful danceable AB/7A

if you have never treated yourself to the sound of Throbbing Gristle....treat yourself and start here....this album is life changing

138. Misfits - Walk Among Us (1982)*

for what they are now...there is no denying that this album is a punk rock classic and an absolute must have for both fans of punk rock and obviously for fans of horror films

there is nothing especially special about this album except for the fact that these songs are short blasts of fun....classic hardcore riffs with actually great drumming from Robo.....mixed with nothing short of amazingly clever lyrics by Danzig

every track on this album is a classic and still gets play around these parts

*if you actually see what i did there then you are as big as a fucking nerd as i am...yes i went out of my way to make sure Misfits were 138....i have no life
