My choice is going to be relatively mainstream, but Led Zeppelin I. That album is so depressing. I usually only listen to it from start to end when I'm already sad. It makes me even sadder, but afterwards I do feel better.

I never really found Naked City to be all that hard to listen to especially when a lot of the faster tracks are smoothed out with some chill tracks.
