Wtf did I just read?

Get your head out of your ass and get a fucking job. Goddam kids today, jeezus effing christ. The world doesn't owe you shit, you need to prove yourself to the world, and you need to learn the value of a goddam hard days work. Ethics, humility, and integrity will go a lot farther than being a fucking panty waste and saying that "If I don't become a rock star, I'm just gonna be a pussy and kill myself". Holy fucking shit. You have some hard fucking lessons ahead of you.

Dumb ass.

Was thinking the same thing earlier but got distracted before I could post a reply. Thanks for saving me the keystrokes.

Do you want to be a rock star because you want to play music or because you want to be rich and famous?

You can always play music. The fame and fortune you will probably not get. Most people do not.

I was hoping the community here could take a joke. Lighten up.

Oh, okay. So it was all a joke.

Nobody caring about rock stars is your problem.

Seriously name me a list of 10 household name millionaire rock stars that have appeared in the last 14 years.

It's 2014, people care about reality TV stars now, not rock stars.

You never know what's going to be big tomorrow. I bet when music was in a period of consistently getting better decades ago, we would have never guessed the circus it would become today.

Ok last 14 years? Lets see:

Paramore
Creed
Nickelback
3 days grace
Halestorm
Linkin Park
Blink 182
Disturbed
The Black Keys
Shinedown
3 Doors Down

Some of these probably started at or on the fringe of that 14 year mark. But all of them have had major success within the past 14 years, and most of them still see big success today.

No, just the suicide part.

I didn't tell you to name bands, I told you to name people in them who were household names.
Try again.

It's irrelevant whether the members are household names. The bands are household names. I guarantee you 80% of the general public don't know the names of the members in Metallica. But metallica are household. And they are rock stars.

Urban Hat€monger ? 12-20-2014 01:13 AM

You said rock star, not successful band.
