My band had played a really great gig at this club back when Linda and I had only been dating for a few weeks (this would have been when we were both still 19). After the show - about 1:30 in the morning - a dude comes up and congratulates me and hands me a couple of tabs of acid in appreciation.

What the hell, we both drop. To say that it was an amazing night together wouldn't do it justice. I have vivid memories of lying naked on the wet grass intertwined, after we'd probably exhausted about a dozen orgasms between us, and staring up at the universe while crickets played a symphony.
At first I thought this was a story of your first gay experience.

Yeah, acid isn't necessarily for the faint of heart. Only tried it once but it was one of those "Huddled on the ground, terrified that everyone around you can hear the thoughts going round your head" experiences. Not fun.

I tried shrooms and had a good time on them but they weren't very strong but acid always seemed too intense for me..

I wouldn't even know where to get it here, it's not really a common drug in my circles.

Jesus christ people if someone says they're not going to do drugs you don't try and convince them to do drugs anyway for 5+ pages, you're all a bunch of assholes ffs

Hippies were the 60s. Way too much BO for me. This would have been around 1980 - we smelled good. I remember that Linda's hair smelled of Strawberries because of her shampoo.

Can I get an *awwww*

It was out in the sticks near a cemetery which made the universe view so good. No streetlights or other crap to mess with the natural lighting.

And ya, I wouldn't do acid today if I was your age. Who the hell knows what you'd be getting. I was lucky back then in that the folks who were making it were invested in you having the best time possible.
