I'm already the most negative person in this thread, so I guess I'll just throw in that, in my opinion, "Here Comes the Sun" and "Tiny Dancer" are terrible, terrible songs and "Comfortably Numb" is mediocre and boring.

I think I'm on board with "Call Me Maybe" and "Mr. Tambourine Man" though.

Tiny Dancer blows, I wouldn't say that Here Comes the Sun is awful though. I wouldn't say it's phenomenal either.

Hard to imagine hating this but I'm sure that some of those people exist.

Really? I've never met anyone who doesn't like "Here Comes the Sun" before. I guess there's a first time for everything.

Billy Joel - Piano Man
T.Rex - Get It On
The Smiths - This Charming Man

and jazz-wise…

Dave Brubeck - Take Five
Miles Davis - So What

Actually, how can you dislike anything by Miles Davis?

Stop singing, you're the piano man.

Gotta agree on the Jazz ones, even though I think Miles has legions of tracks that are superior to anything off of Kind of Blue. KoB is phenomenal still, but compared to Bitches Brew, Miles Smiles, and several other albums it's kind of bush league.

Judging by when our band plays it, Folsom Prison Blues by Johnny Cash.

I've never been that into Kind of Blue or Bitches Brew, to be honest. This is probably why I can't be taken seriously wrt jazz. I love Sketches of Spain, Live-Evil, In a Silent Way, and especially On the Corner though.

My favourite Miles albums is Round About Midnight. I know, I'm weird.

I just don't think Zeppelin are that good when they do folk. I love about half of Led Zeppelin IV, but the other I could give half a **** about.

And while I like "Freebird", it isn't nearly as good a ballad as "Tuesday's Gone", and whenever I hear the beginning to "Freebird" on the radio, I always get my hopes up that it's "Tuesday", cause they do kind of start similarly, but I'm always disappointed. Kind of makes me resent "Freebird" just a bit, even if it's not the song's fault.
