Well let's see about that IMO some of the hottest women are.

Charlize Theron, Lana Del Rey, Emma Stone (obviously), Beyonce, Jennifer Lawrence, I'm sure there's a few more but, really that's about it. Oh Gwen Stefani for sure. What is she like 40 and she still looks like that?

Yes yes and yes. And Gwen Stefani is a good call.

Like dude, she's 46.

Hotter than most people younger than her even. Almost done with that album I missed sorry again to YorkeDaddy but, I think you're going to enjoy the review.

I've actually heard some of this! I won't tell you what I thought of it that would spoil the fun of me reviewing it right? Added.

Lantern on the Lake - Gracious Tide, Take Me Home

1. Lungs Quicken

This opening kind of reminds me of The Postal Service whom I
really loved some time ago. Oh she has such a soft voice. I like
it. Goes great with the dream pop feel. A male singer as well or
is it two females? Or, maybe herself in two octaves. Either way
I love it. So sleepy. It's a sleepy song. Sweet and sleepy. I
like how the sounds almost sound like bugs as if you're in a
giant field of fireflies. Fitting for the band name.
5 stars

2. If I've Been Unkind

Wish I could finger pick like this but, it's hard enough to play
regular chords. Oh, we have a male singer now. I love his voice
though. It's kind of folk-y. There's the girl again. They really
sound fantastic together. His clear deep voice and her high soft
voice. Is there more than just the two of them that sing? I can
already tell I'm more than likely going to really love this whole
album. I have nothing bad to say so far. This one makes me think
of a love story being played out at night something connected to
being deep in the woods.
5 stars

3. Keep On Trying

Cool like beat not sure what the source is. What exactly do they
use? Is there a giant band? A tape recorder? I know there's some
amazing string instruments. I don't know how I'm supposed to
review something that I'm so smitten with. This is literally one
of my favorite types of music. But, it's not easy to make it seem
so beautiful and effortless. They really do it right. Even the
little echoing vocals near the end really fit in the right place.
5 stars

4. Ships In The Rain

Almost like a siren's song isn't it? I mean it's about ships and
such but, really the oooo's make it. I like how there's just the
female vocalist singing. It's perfect that way. Just kind of
inviting me in with how simple and amazing it is.
5 stars

5. A Kingdom

I'd honestly love to see them live it must be something really
masterful. It's more like an orchestra than a band. Or at least
that's how it sounds to me. What genre is this band? Folk? Like
masterful folk orchestra dream pop? It's really heightening my
mood. I kind of needed it today honestly. I'm not really
religious but, this makes me think of angels and the like.
5 stars

6. The Places We Call Home

So this is something about where they came from or when they were
younger. Perhaps both. Always love these type of songs they make
you feel like you're getting to know a band. Like they're taking
you somewhere only they know about and sharing that moment with
you. It also makes me feel a little nostalgic. Beautiful little
end here that just kind of trails off into nothing.
5 stars

7. Blanket of Leaves

Autumn is my favorite season (If you didn't know) and the title
makes me think of that from the get go. I'm not sure it's exactly
about that though. These poison thoughts, my troubled thoughts
won't let me go. And it turned me into stone. Blanket of leaves
just cover me and warm my bones. Sing me to sleep. (I love this
so much I don't even know) This band is just amazing. Sad as hell
and equally as beautiful.
5 stars

8. Tricks

I had to take a small break after that song it really made an
impact on me in some weird way. Maybe because, I know that feeling
of having poison thoughts. Anyway, this next song is nice and
upbeat. Perfect to pick me up from the last song instead of
digging a hole like a lot of albums like to do. If anyone is ever
having a really stressful or horrible day they should just listen
to this CD or maybe even this band in general. It's like taking
an anti depressant.
5 stars

9. You're Almost There

I'm almost there almost at the end of the album but, I don't want
to be I want this to last forever. Wonderful vocals swirling
around. Everything is just so perfect. Who comes up with their
arrangements? Because, he/she/they are genius. At least I think so.
I'm sure there's people that wouldn't enjoy this as much but, I'm
not them am I?
5 stars

10. I Love You, Sleepyhead

A simple ballad. Just vocals, piano, maybe a few other things but,
it's a song that's just letting the vocals shine and it's really
lovely. So much emotion behind something so simple. Then some
exquisite strings come in, a little tap of the drums. This band is
more of an experience that a band. I'm moved to tears. You can
hear so much care and love in this.
5 stars

11. Not Going Back To The Harbour

I don't want it to end but, it can't last forever. Here's the last
track and it's really short so I wonder what it will be like.
The first thing I need to do is compose myself. This one sounds
a little sadder. It's simple kind of like a recording rather than
the rest that have had such big production. It's a perfect way to
end it. I really love how personal it feels.
5 stars

What the hell actually just happened to me?

I need to take a second before I continue. Sip my coffee and just
take a second. This has to be one of the best things I've heard in
a really long time. I don't really care if it sounds like I'm
giving them too much credit this is my opinion and I think this
band is perfection.

5 beautiful stars at night that make a constellation in the sky.
