Who doesn't get enough recognition on the forum?

Post about artists who don't get a lot of recognition on Music Forums.

I've been on music forums for years and I hav e never, ever, seen a mention of Eddie Money, and barely any for George Strait. I understand they had a LOT of hit singles, so it feels kind of weird.

That's because we don't talk about the hits, we talk about the good ****.

You guys don't talk enough about Charlemagne Palestine or Edgard Varese.

I see no Jaco Pastorius thread either... oh wait... yes there is.

Non Fiction.

A f***ing awesome groove metal band that never gets mentioned anywhere at all. Think Life of Agony except 10 times better with ease. In the Know is their best album out of the 3 they made, but all are worth checking out (according to me at least).

Korn and Slipknot

Deerhoof, Frank Black, Kas product.

There's a Deerhoof thread here but it is pretty old and never caught on and aside from that i don't recall anyone ever mentioning them. the closest ive seen someone talk about them has been Frown & Pedestrian who didn't mention them but acknowledged them after i mentioned them.

Frank black's career outside of the pixies to my recollection has never been mentioned here. ppl know his work with the pixies and most of them like them. (Except Neapolitan, he's just too cool for them) but i honestly never seen someone talk about his later albums.

Kas product also don't get enough recognition in this forum, I think ive seen them be mentioned a couple of times but that's about it. keep in mind i haven't searched every thread and every journal on mb im just going from what i've seen.

Not sure if trolling

I guess that implies an elitist attitude since I can't imagine people who know anything about music would like Slipknot or Korn. And then again, Korn had a couple allright songs. I love how the bass in 'Here to Stay' and 'Thoughtless' is ridiculously heavy. The vocals were pretty catchy too. If you'd said Slipknot and Limp Bizkit instead, I would be 100% sure you were trolling, but now I'm not entirely certain.

Slipknot did debut as basically a Mr. bungle ripoff. A good one at that, but they slowly descended into their current state when Corey Taylor joined. I actually dig some of Korn's stuff too.

Huh? Are there any recordings available from their bunglish phase?
