With the primary exception of the likes of Carcass, Napalm Death et al I rarely care for anything called _____core js

I guess I wasn't talking about hardcore either, it was more about genres that sound like they were pulled out of someone's butt, like tweezercore or whatnot

Most genres sound like they were pulled out of someone's butt. I mean "hard rock" is a pretty stupid name if you think about it.
