Dude. Meteora and Hybrid Theory are two of the best rock albums that were released in that time. They deserve the popularity they get.

I'm not sure why they get so much hate. They're a pretty good band.

Nobody wants to admit that they were a huge part in their lives when it came to discovering music back then, especially people in my generation. However, not too recently but we did have a review thread that allowed for some very civil conversation about Linkin Park. It was surprising to see how civil it was:
