I'm just trying to think of modern doom bands with the kind of universal love on this site to challenge Candlemass. Ahab and Ufomammut are the only ones that come to mind, and I imagine they'd be battling for fourth place. Or at least Ahab should be battling for fourth place, cause who listens to Ahab's actual discography as opposed to just their first album?

I guess Conan might have a shot actually.

Sleep and Warning. YOB if you weren't a flock of losers.

Oh yeah, totally forgot about Sleep. But Warning? Really? I'm honestly not familiar with them beyond just knowing who they are and that they only have two albums, but I imagine they're probably not popular enough to challenge Candlemass.

So, Electric Wizard, Black Sabbath, Sleep, and Candlemass is my final answer for the winners. Although I'm pulling for Reverend Bizarre over Sleep.

Are you taking the fact that it's MB into account?

Also here's something that you should know about Warning: all the notes from this album

I've seen love from Ninetales and Qwertyy lite I think, and Mondo introduced me to Warning.

I still say Ahab, Conan, and especially Ufommamut have a way better shot.

I honestly think those two have a better shot of making the list than Ahab as well.

Also I'm going to allow for Sabbath votes because it only makes sense so keep that in mind with your lists.
