Bebop is a form of jazz popularized in the 50's by Stan Getz, Sonny Stitt, Charlie Parker, and more. It's also a predecessor to post-bop and hard bop, two forms of jazz heavily popularized by jazz greats suxch as John Coltrane, Charles Mingus, Cannonball Adderley, etc. Subgenres are allowed, so you can include those two genres in your vote if you want. BMe, I'm sticking with plain bebop. I also have my first vote.
