I cant remember the last time, but this song usually gets to me.



A couple months ago I also had a pretty big emotional response while listening to Novus Magnificat by Constance Demby, but that's not really a song I guess.

I listened to this album again immediately after I found out that Ornette had died (no stranger to the album ftr, it was actually getting a lot of spins before his death too). The shock subsided at about this song and I cried a bit at work.

Oh yeah, forgot about this song. Never had a friend die but for some reason this song always make me think about it and chokes me up. Not sure why.
