Default New Marilyn Manson

I watched an interview today where Manson revealed that he had a new album in the works. He did this by having the interviewer read something which said "say 10" making the interviewer say "Satan." He then told him it would be released on Valentine's day next year.

Still, I'm only about 90 percent sure this was legit, as Manson is pretty well known for his puns and cheesy jokes. He's also made these kind of announcements in the past that ended up being some sort of joke.

Here's a link to an article I also found on the potential new album: https://www.ultimate-guitar.com/news...to_get_it.html

Also, he's apparently collaborating with Justin Bieber on his clothing line selling "bigger than Satan" t-shirts for $195...

What is everyone's take on this? Do you think Manson has lost it?

I was sort of hoping he was dead.

I like some of Marilyn Manson's work, and I thought his last album was one of his better releases.

This. I didn't like him as much a while back, but when I really got into his work, it really isn't bad.

Yeah, exactly. The middle patch of his career is kind of a **** show because it got to a point where he wasn't feared anymore and he was trying so hard to stay relevant, but his first few releases are pretty damn good, and there's strong songs here and there on his other projects.

If anybody thinks he really is just a garbage shock rock artist getting by on a gimmick, I'd really suggest giving The Pale Emperor a listen. Don't get me wrong, it's not anything brand new or super impressive, but it's definitely a big change from his older work, and his experimentation with the bluesier side of rock music definitely added some serious longevity to his career imo.
